What does it mean to be black and Latino in the U.S.? Featuring interviews with Christina Milian, Tatyana Ali, Laz Alonso, Soledad O’Brian Jessy Terrero and more giving insight on growing up black and latino.

I found this very interesting and relatable due to my mixed heritage (Panamanian & Grenadian), it gave keen insight to what it’s like to grow up in such a cuturally diverse family, especially with people like Tatyana Ali (Panamanian & Trinidadian) speaking on the subject.

Culturally, I see myself as three things, A West Indian, Hispanic, Black American Woman.

Bottom line: Define yourself, don’t let society define you.
